The horizontally hung, 'glass covered', rotating black and white stripe Barber's Pole is attached to the black and white "BARBERCHINO" business sign. The shop's name comes from the idea of serving you a cup of your favourite coffee while you are waiting for your choice of haircut or styling. The business was established in 1987.
[For a few years I had been butchering my own haircuts - with clippers - so while in Sydney for a Christian concert later that night I thought I would get spruced up, and grabbed a haircut and beard trim for a good price.] The workers were also very accommodating with my questions about the Barber's Pole, and of combining their work of a barber, with being a barista.
