This former drinking fountain is located in the wall of the small car park of St Hilary's church just off Conway Road in Llanrhos.

The drinking fountain was erected in 1889 to commemorate the 43rd year of the Rev. John Davies as the local vicar.

The drinking fountain is set within a small alcove. It has a lion motif through which the water used to flow into a basin from which a pipe would carry excess water to an animal drinking trough nearer to the ground.

There are two inscriptions on the former water fountain.
