Skulpturen, der er fremstillet af cortenstål og rustfrit stål, er opsat 1996 af Fonden for Sparekassen Faaborg.

I forbindelse med Sparekassen Faaborgs 150 års jubilæum skænkede sparekassen skulpturen til byen. Den er skabt til stedet, hvor den står.

The sculpture, made of Corten steel and stainless steel, is set in 1996 by the Foundation of Sparekassen Faaborg.

In connection with Sparekassen Faaborg's 150th anniversary, Sparekassen donated the sculpture to the city. It is created for the place where it stands.
