The Patcong Valley Moddel Railroad (PVRR) club traces its roots to a chicken coop in Linwood, NJ back in the 1950's. As the club and layout expanded, it moved to a drug store in Ocean City, then horse stables in Egg Harbor Township and finally to Richland in 2004.

The new Patcong Valley RR layout has been a work in progress since then. It is an Ho scale layout.

The exterior of the building has been remodeled to resemble an old Jersey Central station of the type that used to be numerous throughout the area.

The club holds numerous open houses throughout the year, in addition to seeking new members.

The PVRR building is located on Rte 40 (Main Street) in Richland, NJ.
