Two storeyed timbered building of the Old Town Hall of Rožnov pod Radhoštem belongs among the most interesting objects of the Wallachian Open Air Museum. On the ground floor you can see how a small shop and the post office of a small town looked like in the 1920s and 1930s. The shop and the post office are fully functional during the high season. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the municipal council met in a large room on the floor of the town hall, and once a month all the citizens of Rožnov met there. The small room was used as an auxiliary office and at the same time served to accommodate rare guests, such as a senior officials of the Imperial administration or a drainage officers.
The Town Hall was disassmbled and transferred to its current location, which is in distance 700 meters from its original postion in the town's main square (currently Masaryk Square).
