Het herdenkingsmonument in Brielle is opgericht ter nagedachtenis aan alle leerlingen en medewerkers die bij het bombardement van 4 maart 1943 om het leven kwamen.
Op 4 maart 1943 werden de Lagere Technische School en de Vakschool voor Meisjes getroffen door inslagen, waarbij leerlingen en een lid van de administratie omkwamen. In totaal kwamen 22 mensen om bij het bombardement.
De oprichting van het monument was een initiatief van ir. Hoozemans, bij de herbouw van de Lagere Technische School.

De tekst op de gedenksteen luidt:

'TER HERINNERING AAN ONZE ADMINISTRATRICE EN LEERLINGEN DIE IN 1943 DOOR DE OORLOG OM HET LEVEN KWAMEN.'

The memorial in Brielle was erected in memory of all students and employees who died in the bombing of March 4, 1943.
On March 4, 1943, the Lower Technical School and the Vocational School for Girls were hit by impacts, killing students and a member of the administration. In total, 22 people died in the bombing.
The creation of the monument was an initiative of ir. Hoozemans, during the rebuilding of the Lower Technical School.

The text on the memorial stone translates as:

"IN MEMORY OF OUR ADMINISTRATOR AND STUDENTS WHO DIED BY THE WAR IN 1943."
