The attractive 20m cascade is where Finch-Hatton Creek spills into a deep-sided carved rock pool.
From the picnic/parking area Araluen Cascades is reached by a 1.5km uphill walk through lush rainforest and between granite boulders to the lookout above the Cascades. If you are keen to go for a swim, observe safety signs, jumping and diving into the water is prohibited. Accidents have resulted in serious injury and a number of deaths.
