The Green Plaques Project, an initiative of the Berry and District Historical Society, was officially launched on Thursday, June 29 2017.

An official unveiling was held at the Berry Museum. Eleven historical buildings in Berry now have circular, bronze green plaques installed. Each plaque features a brief summary of the building’s history.

The plaque is worded:

The Old Manse

The Old Presbyterian Manse, now a private residence, was built in 1891, on land donated by David Berry.

It was built in front of a timber and corrugated iron church, which has since been removed.
