Dit is een mooi bronzen beeld op ware grootte van een man (naar zijn kleding denk ik een monnik) die aan het roepen is. Vandaar de titel van het beeld; de Roeper. Het beeld staat bij de kruising van de Torenlaan en de Bussumerweg in Blaricum. op de sokkel onderaan het beeld staat de titel en de maker, gevolgd door twee quotes: 'zullen de goeden spreken?' van Jan Rinzema en 'houdt moed, sta op, Hij roept u'uit het bijbelboek Marcus 10 vers 49.
This is a beautiful full-size bronze statue of a man (I think a monk in his clothing) is calling. Hence the title of the image; the Roeper. The statue is located at the intersection of Torenlaan and Bussumerweg in Blaricum. on the pedestal at the bottom of the image is the title and the maker, followed by two quotes: "will the good ones speak?" from Jan Rinzema and 'take courage, stand up, he calls you' from the bible book Mark 10 verse 49.
