NL: Hier staan twee luchtvaartmonumenten naast het gedenkteken voor lokale gesneuvelden van de twee wereldoorlogen.

Links staat een driebladige schroef met een gedenkplaat voor RAF Wing Commander Kolonel Vlieger Daniel “Boy” Le Roy du Vivier.

Rechts staat een monument waarop gedenkplaten zijn bevestigd voor RAF-crashes van 12 mei 1940 en 31 augustus 1941. Ze gedenken Pilot A.E. Oakley, Observer D.J. Avent en Observer D.V. Woods en Pilot F. Pacay, Navigator G. Bensley, W/Ops J. Clark en W/Ops H. Tank.

12.05.1940 Blenheim P6911 15 Squadron crashte nabij Munsterbilzen op het gehucht ‘Op de Hoef’ in Munsterbos tijdens een aanval op de oprukkende Duitse troepen die langs de grote verkeersassen België vanuit Maastricht binnen kwamen. De drie bemanningsleden werden begraven op het gemeentelijk kerkhof van Munsterbilzen waar ze nog steeds rusten.

31.08.1941 Hampden AD859 83 Squadron crashte nabij Munsterbilzen op het gehucht Zangerheide en was waarschijnlijk een slachtoffer van een nachtjager.
Alle bemanningsleden kwamen om in de crash en werden begraven te Munsterbilzen, ze werden later overgebracht naar het kerkhof voor geallieerde piloten en bemanningsleden op het vliegveld van Brustem. De aldaar begraven Commonwealth vliegeniers werden na de oorlog overgebracht naar het CWGC kerkhof van Heverlee.

12.05.1940 Blenheim P6911 15 Squadron crashed near Munsterbilzen on the hamlet "Op de Hoef" in Munsterbos during an attack on the advancing German troops that entered Belgium from Maastricht along the major traffic axes. The three crew members were buried in the Munsterbilzen municipal cemetery where they are still resting.

31.08.1941 Hampden AD859 83 Squadron crashed near Munsterbilzen in the hamlet of Zangerheide and was probably a victim of a night fighter.
All crew members died in the crash and were buried in Munsterbilzen, later transferred to the cemetery for Allied pilots and crew members at Brustem airfield. The Commonwealth aviators buried there were transferred after the war to the CWGC cemetery in Heverlee.
