This war memorial was placed in 1977 by the local American Legion.

Stroud Cemetery is located about one mile east of town on County Road N3570. This memorial stands on a concrete patio and consists of a tapered concrete pillar with a bronze plaque. Two metal chairs stand nearby. There are five flagpoles however no flags were being flown at the time of our visit.

The dedication reads:

In memory to all
who have served
and gave so much
for God and country
(American Legion emblem)
May 30, 1977
