Bjerreds Saltsjöbad och kallbadhus is located at the end of a 600 meter long boardwalk out in the Øresund.

Around the year 1900, a bridge and a bathhouse were built here on the site. In 1901, a railway was built from Lund to Bjärred and therefore many people came to Bjärred to swim and enjoy the facilities of the place. Bjärred was a fashionable seaside resort for the more affluent. In 1939, the railway between Lund and Bjärred was closed, and during the ice winter of 1941-1942, the old bathing house disappeared.
In 2004, a new boardwalk and bathhouse was built and Bjerred's Saltsjöbad och kallbadhus was reopened to the public.
At the bathhouse there are changing facilities, sauna and restaurant. It is open to everyone.
Length: 600 m

Physically Challenged Accessible?: yes
