Reredos on the east wall of the chancel in Holy Cross church, Byfield. Installed durint the church renovations of 1885, made of Caen stone and marble.
The central portion is decorated sympathetically with the 14th century sedilia, with 4-centred cusped arch heads in a lancet arch. The whole is set off by a background of pink marble. The columns of the blind arcades to the sides are also pink marble, behind the altar the short columns are white.
Approximate Age of Artefact: 1885
