In the upper part of the Alameda stands the Casa Junquera (1913), at number 9, a spectacular example of housing for merchants. Of clear historicist inspiration, in its facade the references to Mercury do not lack, God of the commerce.

In number 1, making corner with Lamas Carvajal, the Olmedo Warehouses (1925), projected initially like hotel.
