FR La fontaine du Cours de la République est une fontaine octogonale. Du centre de son bassin principal s'élève une structure en fonte qui accueille un second bassin d'où s'élève un troisième bassin d'où l'élève le jet d'eau.
Du bassin le plus haut vers le bassin intermédiaire, l’eau s'écoule par les côtés. Du bassin intermédiaire vers le bassin principal, l'eau s'écoule par des trous.
EN The Cours de la République fountain is an octagonal fountain. From the center of its main basin rises a cast iron structure which accommodates a second basin from which rises a third basin from which the water jet rises.
From the highest basin to the intermediate basin, the water flows from the sides. From the intermediate basin to the main basin, the water flows through holes.
