Žehun je obec ve Stredoceském kraji, v okrese Kolín.
První písemná zmínka o obci pochází z roku 1137, kdy reholníci z Opatovic nad Labem postavili v Žehuni kostel a vysvetili ho spolupatronovi rádu benediktinu a nemeckému misionári svatému Gothardovi.
Poštovní úrad v Žehuni byl založen v letech 1868–1869.

- Kostel svatého Gotharda, postavený na základech románské stavby, nyní pozdne barokní areál kostela s ohradní zdí s branou a kostnicí
- Kostnice – od stredoveku do 19. století používaná kostnice obsahuje kosterní pozustatky témer tisíce zemrelých a je verejnosti prístupná; v roce 2019 byla zkoumána antropology, podle lebek, rozbitých remdihem nebo cepem byly zjišteny ostatky obetí husitské bitvy u Lipan z roku 1434.[15]

Žehun is a village in the Central Bohemian Region, in the Kolín District.
The first written mention of the village comes from 1137, when monks from Opatovice nad Labem built a church in Žehun and consecrated it to the co-patron of the Benedictine order and the German missionary St. Gothard.
The post office in Žehun was founded in 1868–1869.

Monuments:
- Church of St. Gothard, built on the foundations of a Romanesque building, now a late Baroque church complex with a wall with a gate and an ossuary
- Ossuary - from the Middle Ages to the 19th century, the ossuary used contains the skeletal remains of almost a thousand dead and is open to the public; in 2019 it was examined by anthropologists, the remains of the victims of the Hussite battle of Lipany from 1434 were found according to the skulls broken by a snout or a spear. [15]
