Located outside the Van Lennep Auditorium, this demonstration garden receives the majority of runoff from the auditorium.

This rain garden and vegetated swale expand the "living shoreline" buffer that protects the river. These planted areas slow the dlow of stormwater helping to prevent pollution from running off the land from buildings and other hard surfaces, including lawn areas.
