This small water mill originally comes from the Tyrolean Gerlostal. In 1971 it first came to Mollenfelde (approx. 30 km southwest of Ebergötzen) and in 2004 to the Ebergötzen Bread Museum.
The undershot mill wheel gets its water from the Auebach.
The water wheel drives a small grain mill inside the mill. But it is only run as a museum.
The European bread museum, on the premises of which the water mill is located, shows the visitor everything to do with grain and bread.
