DE: Im Jahr 1935 gegründet gehört die in der Innenstadt gelegene Bücherei der Stadt Brühl mit zu den ältesten im Erftkreis. Es befinden sich neben Büchern, Zeitungen und Zeitschriften auch Audiovisuelle (CD, DVD, ...) und Virtuelle Medien (wie eBooks) in der Ausleihe. Die Bücherei ist in das Kulturleben der Stadt eingebunden, da sie neben der Nutzung als Bildungseinrichtung auch Lesungen, Aktionen und Ausstellungen durchführt. In der Bücherei stehen zwei PCs mit Internetanschluss, sowie WLAN für die Geräte der Büchereibesucher.
EN: Founded in 1935, the downtown Brühl library is one of the oldest in the Erftkreis. In addition to books, newspapers and magazines, there are also audiovisuals (CD, DVD, ...) and virtual media (such as eBooks) in the library. The library is integrated into the cultural life of the city, as in addition to being used as an educational facility, it also holds readings, campaigns and exhibitions.
