The fishing port of Bayonne. Bayonne has a long tradition of fishing. A couple of centuries Baiona was the main port of southern Galicia and northern Portugal and maritime point harder to fight militarily.

Port of fishing and sporting activity. The estuary that bears his name between Cabo Silleiro and Punta Lameda in Monte Ferro.
Anchorages: The main anchorage with a depth greater than 7m, mud, for vessels with a draft of less than 5m is located on the E of Barbeira beach. From the anchorage, the end of the pier is marked at 217º, at 299º Punta Tenaza, seeing the Boeiro islet in Cies a little open by Pta. Pincers.
