Farmers Grain Company has been in business since 1917 and has its headquarters in Pond Creek, Oklahoma. They have 14 locations in north central Oklahoma and south central Kansas. This large company focuses on "agronomy, energy, grain and risk management and include 11.5 million bushels of grain storage capacity, a fertilizer plant, feed mill, seed treatment facility, bulk fuel sales, a feed and farm supply store, in-house brokerage, insurance and financial credit services, and the Chisholm Trail Terminal" according to its website.
The location in Nardin appears to be the only business in town. Location on the south side of town at 201 W. Main, it consists of three large concrete silos, and several outbuildings.
