Integrated Works, dat al sinds 2009 de netwerkinfrastructuur van het Van Gogh Museum verzorgt, is in de zomer van 2017 gevraagd om de hiervoor benodigde technische infrastructuur te ontwerpen en aan te leggen. Daarbij wordt gebruikgemaakt van de Android-tablets van het museum, waarmee bezoekers interactieve multimedia-audiotours kunnen beluisteren in elf talen. Door in de tentoonstellingsruimte virtuele beacons te plaatsen, kan worden bepaald waar een bezoeker met een dergelijk device zich bevindt. Deze informatie wordt enerzijds gebruikt om de audiotour aan te sturen en tegelijkertijd worden de locatiedata verzameld voor analyse. Persoonlijke mobiele toestellen van bezoekers - zoals smartphones - worden niet gedetecteerd.

Integrated Works, which has been providing the Van Gogh Museum's network infrastructure since 2009, was asked in the summer of 2017 to design and build the necessary technical infrastructure. It uses the museum's Android tablets, which allow visitors to listen to interactive multimedia audio tours in eleven languages.
