EN: Magliaso is a station on the railway FLP from Lugano to Ponte Tresa. It is located in west of Magliaso. There is a newer stop closer to the town center called Magliaso Paese, but that one has no building, just shelter structures and ticket machines.

The station was probably built when the line opend in 1912. It is a Neo-Classical two story building with cornices and corner pilaster strips. Next to the main building is a much simpler freight depot with a bus stop behind.

The FLP line is 12.3 kilometers long. Today it is integrated as line S60 in the Ticino suburban railway network and is mainly used by commuters from the Malcantone and the neighboring Italian communities working in the Lugano area. On weekdays there is a train every 15 minutes, in the evenings and on weekends every 30 minutes.
