La cathédrale Saint-Michel fut construite sur les hauteurs de la falaise Saint-Michel selon les plans de l'architecte Louis-Napoléon Audet1, au centre-ville de Sherbrooke. Avec une architecture de style gothique, l'édifice fut inspiré de la Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris de par sa conception avec les deux tours à l’avant. Sa construction, pourtant, reste inachevée, faute de financement : deux petites tours restent à construire.
The Saint-Michel cathedral was built on the heights of the Saint-Michel cliff according to the plans of the architect Louis-Napoléon Audet1, in downtown Sherbrooke. With Gothic-style architecture, the building was inspired by Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral by design with the two towers at the front. Its construction, however, remains unfinished for lack of funding: two small towers remain to be built.
