There is a geocenter on the Hohenmirsberger Platte (614 m above sea level). This center includes an observation tower, a fossil tapping area and a geopath around the Hohenmirsberger Platte.

The rock cames from fossile rich layers aout of the adjacent limestone quarry.

In the summer months, the fossil tapping station is open. Hammer rental and tools on site.
