Olde stammer fra Edinburgh Zoo hvor hun blev klækket 16. maj 1979 og hun har været i Odense Zoo siden 2003. Hun har fået 16 pingvin unger.




The long-lived gentoo penguin named Olde (Great-GrandMother), a resident at Odense Zoo, was confirmed to be 41 years 141 days as of 4 October 2020, making her the world's most old-age penguin.
Olde is from Edinburgh Zoo where she was hatched on 16 May 1979 and she has been at Odense Zoo since 2003. She has had 16 penguin cubs.
She (Odense ZOO) has now received a certificate from Guinness World Records.
