Znajdujesz sie przed pomnikiem upamietniajacym tragiczne wydarzenia z czasów II wojny swiatowej. Na wschód od ulicy Lipowej znajdowaly sie wówczas pociegielniane wyrobiska, które posluzyly Niemcom za miejsce do dokonywanych mordów na ludnosci cywilnej. Zgodnie z informacja na pomniku, w ciagu szesciu lat zamordowano tam 800 osób, jednak ta liczba jest jedynie szacunkowa, gdyz nie prowadzono zadnych ewidencji ofiar. Wsród zabitych znalezli sie m.in.: powstancy, wiezniowie gestapo, czy Zydzi z obszaru Getta Pruszkowskiego. Wielu ofiar nie udalo sie zidentyfikowac.
W 2017 roku pomnik zostal odnowiony z funduszy miasta i teren wkolo niego stal sie bardziej zadbany.
Glaz ma tablice z napisem:
"Miejsce poswiecona krwia poleglych za wolnosc ojczyzny. W tym miejscu w latach 1939-1945 hitlerowcy zamordowali 800 Polaków."
You are in front of a monument commemorating the tragic events of the II World War. To the east of Lipowa Street there were then post-mortem excavations, which served as a place for the Germans to murder civilians. According to the information on the memorial, 800 people were murdered there in six years, but this number may not be accurate, because no records of the victims were kept. Among those killed were insurgents, gestapo prisoners and Jews from the Pruszków Ghetto. Many victims could not be identified
In 2017, the monument was renovated with the city's funds.
The boulder has a plaque on it, which says:
"A place dedicated to the blood of those who died for the freedom of their homeland. It was here that between 1939-1945 the Nazis murdered 800 Poles".
