Kreuzweg - Kienberg, SO, Switzerland - Outdoor Stations of the Cross on Waymarking.com

EN: The Stations of the Cross of Kienberg are located southeast of the village on a dirt road. After a few hundred meters the row of stations leads to the right into the forest, at a place where there is no public road anymore today.

The stations are made of concrete and had a painting in a recess, which is no longer recognizable, and an engraved cross in the gable.

I estimate the time of origin to be the 1930s. I don't know how many of the stations still exist, but the half a dozen I saw were in poor condition and had not been maintained for several decades.

DE: Der Kreuzweg von Kienberg befindet sich südostlich des Dorfes an einem Feldweg. Nach ein paar hundert meteern führt die Reihe der Stationen nach rechts in den Wald, an einer Stelle, wo heute kein öffentlicher Weg mehr ist.

Die Stationen bestehen aus Beton und hatten ein heute nicht mehr erkennbares Gemälde in einer Vertiefung sowie ein eingraviertes Kreuz im Giebel.

Ich schätze die Entstehungszeit auf die 1930er Jahre. Ich weiss nicht, wieviele der Stationen überhaupt noch existieren, aber das halbe Dutzend, das ich gesehen habe, war in einem schlechten Zustand und wurde seit mehreren Jahrzehnten nicht mehr unterhalten.
