[FR] La commanderie du temple, réunie à celle de Sainte Eulalie du Larzac fut fondée en 1234. Il existait déjà à cet endroit une bastide fortifiée avec des loges refuges comme à Vezins, et un château qui fut complété en 1381 par une tour. La commanderie fut unie à celle des Canabières (ordre de Saint Jean de Jérusalem) après la suppression de l'ordre du Temple (1302). Le lieu dépendait de la paroisse de Saint Amans d'Escoudournac.

[EN] The Templar commandary, joined with that of Sainte Eulalie du Larzac was founded in 1234. A fortified town already existed here with an enclosed lodge as at vezins, and a castle which was completed in 1381 by a tower. The commandery was joined to that of Canabières (order of Saint John of Jerusalem) after the extinction of the Templar order (1302). The place belonged to the parish of Saint Amans d'Escoudournac.
