"The current bishopric (Progreso, 26) was projected in 1888 by Antonio Queralt as an extension of the Conciliar Seminary. The decoration, with a cornice of arches, small loopholes, crosses, etc., aims to give the whole a certain medieval historicism."

When Queralt changed the residence to Pontevedra, Vázquez Gulias. Both of them were principal arquitects in Ourense of theModernism.
