The boat ride from the city of Ohrid to the monastery St. Naum is a very scenic one along the eastern shore of lake Ohrid. You are able to see several small and unique villages in a wonderful landscape, the Bay of Bones Museum (a replica of an ancient lakeside settlement), one of Tito's villas, but also birds sitting on a small rock island and on the way. The tour takes about two hours in one direction and ends at the famous monastery, that was established by St. Naum around 905. St. Naum is also buried here. Along the way the crew explained a lot of the nature and the architecture and we enjoyed a freshmade Macedonian coffee.
