This obelisk is set in memory of members of the Burnside family. The headstones for John and Anna Burnsides, who both died in 1886, are on either side of the obelisk. Their names are also on the obelisk along with their daughter Aura, who died in 1883 just a few months after birth. John and Anna both died in 1886, a few months apart, and both still relatively young.
