Blandt de første populære programmer var quizprogrammet Lykkehjulet og Eleva2ren, som var et program, der kombinerede journalistik og underholdning.

TV2 aired on October 1, 1988, and after a few years was the most watched channel in Denmark. There are two Danish channels and TV2 was the first to be financed by advertising.

TV2 broadcasts entertainment, news, children's television, documentaries, films, sports and lifestyle programs.
The buildings are the former cattle market where the Funen farmers traded cattle.
