'Every year, tens of thousands of children and (grand)parents find their way to Deventer Toy Museum. We are a family museum full of everyday and special toys where people from 0 to 88 can enjoy a wonderful and educational afternoon. And has been since 1932! First as an annex of the historical museum and after a number of moves and expansions since 1983 located at Brink 47.

Collection
We have the largest and most important public toy collection in the Netherlands. Special dolls and dollhouses, trains, various mechanical and optical toys, board games and games; the museum has it all. The collection can also be viewed online.

Especially for children
Children do not only look with their eyes. Therefore there are also places in the museum where children can do things. The play loft, games room and optics room are favorites. The performances on Saturdays are also popular.

Facilities and accessibility
The museum does not have a café. However, there is a coffee corner on the first floor where coffee, tea, soft drinks and juice are available at a reasonable price. Unfortunately our monumental buildings are not easily accessible for people with mobility problems.'
