Our Aviary
An aviary is an enclosure for birds. This Aviary houses birds of prey that are part of our Montgomery County ecosystem; they can be found in woodlands all over Maryland. Our birds were injured or hand raised and cannot survive in the wild.

MCPS Outdoor and Environmental Education Programs encourages an appreciation for the wonderful fiversity of Maryland's wildlife, promotes an understanding of the interdependency of humans and the environment, and encourages people to protect and conserve nature.
