DE: Nach einer Idee des Gartenarchitekten Kurt Schönbohm wurde für die Bundesgartenschau im Jahr 1971 für den neu gestalteten Mittelmeer-Gartenhof in das gegossene Mauerwerk aus rundgeschliffenem Carrara-Marmorbruch die Verse 11, 12 und die ersten Worte des Verses 13 von Psalm 96 eingeschlagen. Verwendet wurde dabei die Übersetzung aus der Lutherbibel von 1912:

"Der Himmel freue sich, und die Erde sei fröhlich; das Meer brause und was darinnen ist; das Feld sei fröhlich und alles, was darauf ist und lasset rühmen alle Bäume im Walde vor dem HERRN;"

EN: According to an idea by the garden architect Kurt Schönbohm, Psalm 96 verses 11, 12 and the first words of verse 13 were written into the cast masonry made of round Carrara marble for the Federal Garden Show in 1971 for the newly designed Mediterranean garden courtyard. The translation from the Luther Bible from 1912 was used:

"Let the heavens rejoice and the earth be happy; the sea roars and what is in it; the field and everything that is on it be happy and let all the trees in the forest praise before the Lord;"
