At the Norsk Folkemuseum in Oslo, Norway, there is an apartment building. Each floor of the building is set up to depict a different era in the life of Norwegian people. Visitors are invited to explore but not touch the artifacts. In the apartment of a family from 1965 is a Moomin on display!

Address: The Museum has the address Museumsveien 10 at the peninsula Bygdøy, ca. 5 km from downtown Oslo. Bus: 30 Bygdøy from downtown Oslo to stop Folkemuseet. (Check schedules and where to buy tickets at ruter.no) Ferry: From April to September a ferry runs from Rådhusbrygge 3 by the City Hall to Dronning, Bygdøy. From there a 10 min. walk. Car/bike/walk: From highway E18 or from street Bygdøy Allé, turn off to Bygdøy. Follow signs to Norsk Folkemuseum. Parking: Public parking outside the main entrance for a fee, all days 08:00 - 20:00. Entrance fee: 160.00 (listed in local currency) Type of waymark: Moomin items (toys, mugs, fabric, clothes etc.) Make sure you are allowed to take pictures !
