Vals de Saintonge Community has relied on the skills and dynamism of the Kayak Club Angérien (KCA) to deploy the following action plan as part of a public / private partnership.
• Development of infrastructures open to all
• Creation of 3 linear routes and 2 loops
- fitting out of 8 embarkation and disembarkation holds
- development of the crossing of structures
- route signage
- river cleaning
• Creation of nautical stops in Saint-Julien de l'Escap, Saint-Jean d'Angély and Torxé: installation of contemporary furniture created in the image of La Boutonne, designed by Leclab (a group of designers located in Tonnay Boutonne )
• Establishment of a nautical base in Saint-Jean d'Angély
- Layout and equipment of a reception room and adjoining spaces
- Installation of new navigation equipment (canoe-kayaks and Stand up Paddle, handikayaks), rolling stock and storage
