"A door of the Cistercian Abbey of Clairefontaine, destroyed during the French Revolution, was moved to this place in 1911.
It dates back to 1700 and was first installed in the church of Habergy in 1818: the inhabitants of this village came to look for freestone on the site of the old abbey.
It was the mayor of Arlon, N. ENSCH-TESCH who had her transported to this place. He also restored the Luxembourg coat of arms carved on the pediment. "

"Une porte de l’abbaye cistercienne de Clairefontaine détruite à la révolution française, fut transportée à cet endroit en 1911.
Elle daterait de 1700 et fut d’abord installée à l’église d’Habergy en 1818 : les habitants de ce village étaient venus chercher des pierres de taille sur le site de l’ancienne abbaye.
C’est le bourgmestre d’Arlon, N. ENSCH-TESCH qui la fit transporter à cet endroit. Il fit également restaurer les armoiries de Luxembourg sculptées sur le fronton."
