County of church: Gasconade County
Location of church: MO-19, Drake
Built: 1901
Architectural Style: Gothic Revival

This weathervane looks like an arrow, through the good book, and some Gothic gingerbread around it. Biblical is my guess.

Unusual for this county, but I can not find an web historical information on this church
Because of the cemeteries, I am assuming a church use to stand at the old cemetery, and in 1902 this church building was erected here.

This church has two cemeteries. The cemetery directly behind the church, now officially referred to as Zoar Church Cemetery #2, was actually created in 1902.
West of Drake about a mile is Zoar Cemetery, now called #1, created in 1858.
Both cemeteries are active, and, as I am told, depends on who your family was, and where they are buried which one you get to use.

Stone over the front door reads:

ZOAR
M.E. CHURCH
1901

This eclectic church has full Gothic windows, and doves, loved by the Germans, and a strange weathervane. All combined to make this a very interesting and unique church.
