Samme former for udskæringer findes bl.a. i en gadedør i Sct. Annagade.

Ofte havde købmandsgårdene egne skibe i Bogense havn.

English: The old grocery store on Østergade in Bogense has been a grocery store since the 18th century - at that time there were three grocery stores and associated homes in the building.

The old grocery store in Østergade dates from the early 18th century.

The gate and the woodwork above the bay window are from the 18th century. The same types of carvings are found i.a. in a front door in Sct. Annagade.

Købmandsgården had its own shop with refreshments for customers from the country. Here they sold everything from coffee, spices, flour and grain to cowhide and wood. The merchant farms often had their own ships in Bogense harbor.

Originally, it consisted of 2-3 smaller grocery shops, which were merged in the late 18th century.

The building is considered cultural heritage and protected as such.
