Stenalderdolken fra Hindsgavl er afbilledet på den danske 100 kr, der blev introduceret i 2010. Dolken hugget i flint i den sidste del af yngre stenalder betragtes som nordens smukkeste redskaber. Dolken kan ses i Nationalmuseets samling af fund fra oldtiden.

Det fineste eksempel på dolktidens flintteknik er den 29,5 cm lange flint-dolk, der omkring 1867 blev fundet på øen Fænø i Lillebælt over for Hindsgavl. Typen kaldes ’fiskehaleformet’ på grund af grebets facon. Dolken er fra stenalderen, nærmere betegnet den sene del af dolktiden, 1900-1700 f.Kr., og efterligner metaldolke, hvis greb afsluttes foroven med en oval plade. Den fine flintteknik viser, hvor meget flintsmeden anstrengte sig i konkurrencen med metalvarerne, som på dette tidspunkt bredte sig og kom til at udkonkurrere det gamle flinthåndværk.

English: The Stone Age dagger from Hindsgavl is depicted on the Danish 100 kr, which was introduced in 2010. The dagger carved in flint in the latter part of the Neolithic is considered the most beautiful tool in the Nordic countries. The dagger can be seen in the National Museum's collection of finds from antiquity.

The finest example of the dagger flint technique is the 29.5 cm long flint dagger, which was found around 1867 on the island of Fænø in the Little Belt opposite Hindsgavl. The type is called 'fishtail' due to the shape of the handle. The dagger is from the Stone Age, more precisely the late part of the dagger period, 1900-1700 BC, and imitates metal daggers, whose grip ends at the top with an oval plate. The fine flint technique shows how much effort the flint blacksmith made in the competition with the metal goods, which at this time spread and came to outcompete the old flint craft.
