Not one single tombstone is standing properly. Most knocked over, one leaning against a tree, and others leaning against each other...
When I was first directed to this cemetery, I thought of it as a old farm cemetery.
But, after immense research, I have come to find the school house next to this site may have first been a church.
Then this was the church cemetery.
Th school remained popular for a long time, but the cemetery was avoided.
Seems one of the Archers, white, married a Pleasant, black, and that cause quite a turmoil.
