The river Cerves is born in the Serra de Faro de Avión, about 1000 m high. In its vertiginous descent to Melón, it forms magnificent rapids and fascinating waterfalls and pools . It is at a height of about 500 m where most of these beautiful pools are concentrated, which in summer become authentic natural pools suitable for swimming.
An enabled path runs to the right of the river course. On its way we will discover new and fascinating fervenzas and pools. We will pass under and between the large pillars of the Rías Baixas highway viaduct, which connects southern Galicia with the Meseta, until we reach one of the most beautiful corners of the place. A rocky wall about 15 meters high through which the river slides forming a spectacular waterfall.
