Coyle Volunteer Fire Dept. - Firehouses on Waymarking.com

We were somewhat confused when arriving at this location. The firehouse and city hall address is listed as 111 N. Pulliam Street. This is a frame railroad depot just east of the fire department, which we found to be vacant and in disrepair on our visit in September 2020. The Google Maps site, which may be several years old, shows this depot in good condition and apparently occupied. We can only assume that the fire department office is now located in the office area on the east side of the metal building at 210. E. Lewis.

This is a one-story metal building with a shallow gabled roof. There are five vehicle bays in the main building, with an additional one-bay building to the west. The Coyle Fire Department is a Volunteer station that serves this community of approximately 430 people, plus the surrounding rural area. We were unable to develop the number of firefighters associated with this department.
