EN: This cross is located in a covered niche next to the former ossuary at the southern edge of the Herznach churchyard cemetery. It dates from 1706 and originally contained a crucifixion group and a panorama of the city of Jerusalem on the walls, probably painted by Edward Öhling. Since the renovation in 1971/72, a simple wooden cross and a Pietà by Ferdinand Stufflesser have stood here.
DE: Dieses Kreuz befindet sich in einer überdachten Nische neben dem ehemaligen Beinhaus am Südrand des Friedhofs von Herznach. Es stammt aus dem Jahr 1706 und enthielt ursprünglich eine Kreuzigungsgruppe und ein vermutlich von Edward Öhling gemaltes Panorama der Stadt Jerusalem an den Wänden. Seit der Sanierung 1971/72 stehen hier ein schlichtes Holzkreuz und eine Pietà von Ferdinand Stufflesser.
