This firehouse is a one-story metal building located on the north side of Main Street, just east of the unoccupied downtown area. The west end of the building has a small office, with two overhead vehicle doors on the east. There are 14 volunteer firefighters working out of this station.

The department's Facebook page shows an active community presence. A cute video of firefighters presenting to an elementary class is shown online. In March of each year, a large Rib Dinner is sponsored by the fire department as a fund raiser.
