A WWI memorial plaque in the retaining wall of St Botolph's church, Ratcliffe on the Wreake, consisting of a framed swithland slate tablet that is set into small extended section of the Churchyard retaining wall on Main Street. It is incised with an inscription which has been infilled with black & gold coloured paints. A floral design is carved in each corner in relief.

The inscription reads -
OUR VALIANT DEAD
IN MEMORY OF THE MEN OF THIS PARISH
WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR
COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918
