Tupelo Firehouse 1 - Firehouses on Waymarking.com

The Tupelo Firehouse 1 is located on the west side of 6th Avenue (Highway 48), north of Main Street (Highway 3). Just south of a town baseball field, this is a one-story metal building with a gabled roof and a stone veneer paneling on the lower walls. There is a warning siren on the southwest corner of the building.

A small office is located on the south end of the building. There are three glass-pane overhead vehicle doors to the north of the office. The Department was established in 1976. A total of 12 volunteer firefighters operate out of this station.
