EN: This large sinkhole is located in the agricultural area on the plateau east of Rünenberg. It has a diameter of about 20 meters.
In the karstic plateaus of the Table Jura, sinkholes should not be rare. However, this is one of the few that have not been filled in so as not to interfere with agriculture.
DE: Diese grosse Doline befindet sich im Landwirtschaftsgebiet auf der Hochebene östlich von Rünenberg. Sie hat einen Durchmesser von rund 20 Metern.
In den karstigen Hochebenen des Tafeljura sollten Dolinen eigentlich nicht selten sein. Diese ist aber eine der wenigen, die nicht aufgefüllt wurden, um die Landwirtschaft nicht zu beeinträchtigen.
